BSP: What are your thoughts on opponent Sam “Hands of Stone” Stout?
Fisher: He’s a tough guy and he has a win over me. I’m better prepared and have better conditioning this time. My wrestling will be better. I’m focusing on being in great shape, lots of cardio.

BSP: What ranks and titles have you held?
Fisher: Victory middleweight champ-Council Bluffs. I’m now with UFC.

BSP: Who are your heroes?
Fisher: The entire Miletich team – Tim Silvia – Pat – our whole team.

BSP: What do you do to get pumped up before a fight?
Fisher: I watch my losses.

BSP: What’s it like to be a celebrity?
Fisher: I don't see that part of it. As a kid, I wanted to be a pro wrestler.

BSP: What is your favorite technique?
Fisher: Knockout – no questions asked. I never want to lose by decision.

BSP: How did you know you were ready for the UFC and what did it feel like to make your debut?
Fisher: Dream come true. I thought I was ready. I had 18 pro fights and 50 amateur fights. I moved to Iowa without a commitment. I worked hard and proved that I could do it.

BSP: Who delivered hardest punch?
Fisher: In training it is Jason Black. In a fight it was Hermes Franca – I didn't know where I was – when the ref put his hands on me I thought it was Hermes. The hardest hit I delivered was to Kyle Watson, I hit him so hard and fast that when they replayed the tape on the underground scene – they thought the tape had been sped up. When Kyle woke up, he thought he had been kicked because he didn’t see the punch coming.

BSP: Where do you want to be in 5 years?
Fisher: I want to be a hunting guide. I like to hunt for white tail deer. (Spencer hunts both bow and gun)

BSP: What advise can you offer amateur fighters who are looking to turn pro?
Fisher: Get with good camp and surround yourself with people who care about you. I wanted to pack it up and go home a week after I got here and my wife wouldn’t let me.

BSP: You were an amateur, you went pro and now you are UFC…how did you do it?
Fisher: Monte Cox wanted 170 lbs fighter. I won the right fights. Make the decision. Really think it through. Put your heart and soul into it. Put this first. Set your goals and work hard to achieve those goals. It took me 4 years to get here.
